It's publication day for Snowflakes and Surprises in Tuppenny Bridge! This is the third in my Tuppenny Bridge series, set in a picturesque market town on the banks of the River Skimmer in the Yorkshire Dales. I really love this story and the two main characters. Bookworm Clemmie and artist Ross are just lovely, even though they sometimes need their heads banging together! This is a story of a lost first love, and of second chances. But there's more to it than that. It's also the story of how low self-esteem can wreck lives; how the relationships we see around us can influence our own; how lack of trust and communication can sabotage our happiness; the importance of friendship, and so much more. Including snow. Lots of snow!

Here's the blurb:

Book lover and dreamer Clementine Grant has always been a romantic at heart. When she’s not reading she’s gazing longingly at the romance books in The Corner Cottage Bookshop where she works. She’s even gone so far as to write her own Regency romance novel… not that she’d EVER let anyone read it.This year, she’s dreaming of a white Christmas, but any chance of a merry holiday is dashed when she spots her ex-boyfriend, Ross Lavender, across the village green at a carol concert.Even worse, Clemmie is mortified when, in the village Christmas raffle, she picks the winning ticket. The prize? A portrait painted by Ross himself, who is a talented local artist. Horrified, Clemmie tries unsuccessfully to give it back. She’d rather forget the portrait and the man behind it – no way does she want to spend hours alone together in the new year. But then an unexpected snowstorm traps Clemmie and Ross in close quarters, and old emotions and secrets emerge from beneath the ice. With Clemmie’s Aunt Dolly clearly keeping something from her, and a potential new suitor – the charming Reuben Walker – stirring the pot, Clemmie’s future is at a terrifying crossroads. Will the new year, with its promise of fresh starts, help bridge the distance between two people who thought it was over for good? Or will the weight of the secret Clemmie’s been carrying ever since they split up prove too heavy for her to bear?Pour a warm mug of cocoa, wrap yourself in a snuggly blanket, and dive into a story where love, secrets, and winter magic collide in the heart of Tuppenny Bridge.

Snowflakes and Surprises in Tuppenny Bridge is out now in Kindle, paperback and audio! You can buy it here. I really hope you take Clemmie and Ross to your heart, and that you enjoy this latest trip to Tuppenny Bridge.

Merry Christmas!
