It’s Publication Day for Kindred Spirits at Harling Hall!

It’s here at last! After what feels like forever, book one in my Ghosts of Rowan Vale series is out today.

Now you can wander down the little streets and lanes of Rowan Vale in the Cotswolds, admiring the gentle river and the honey stone cottages, visiting the Ashcroft Mill Museum, the Swinging Sixties street, and the Victorian shops on the village green.

Maybe you can even pop into Mrs Herron’s Teashop for a bite to eat, or grab a fairy cake from Blighty’s Bakery.

Perhaps you’ll visit The Quicken Tree Inn, where there might just be a pub quiz in progress.

You’ll meet lots of friendly locals, but there might be a few residents who you won’t be able to see. Nevertheless, they’re there, and don’t think they’re not listening to every word you say. They do love a good gossip…

Kindred Spirits at Harling Hall is a fun romance with a cosy paranormal twist. If you love the BBC series Ghosts, you’ll love this!

Here’s the blurb:

The first in a delightfully warm, cosy and romantic new series with a fantasy twist, for fans of the BBC series Ghosts.

Can Callie give some needy ghosts their happy-ever-afterlife, while making Rowan Vale her own forever home?

When single mum Callie visits Rowan Vale with her daughter, she is enchanted. The beautiful Cotswold village is run as a living museum, allowing tourists to see history in action. But there's more to the place than meets the eye...

To the residents' surprise, Callie is observed talking to several villagers she simply shouldn’t be able to see - as they’re ghosts.

The elderly owner of the village, Sir Lawrence Davenport, then makes an astonishing offer: to sell Callie the whole estate for a tiny sum, if she agrees to protect the village’s present tenants and its headstrong spirits.

With a spectral lord of the manor and his imperious wife, a naughty 1940s schoolgirl and William Shakespeare's former tutor among them, it seems Callie’s role as owner wouldn’t be easy.

And that’s without the added complication of Sir Lawrence’s disinherited grandson, the gorgeous Brodie.

Rowan Vale and Callie may need each other. But is this a match made in heaven or hell?

Fans of the BBC's Ghosts, or books by Lucy Jane Wood, Laurie Gilmore and Heidi Swain will love this heart-warming and magical novel.

I must say a huge thank you to the team at Boldwood Books, who have held my hand every step of the way with this book, and have been an absolute joy to work with.

Today is the tenth anniversary of the publication of my very first book, There Must Be an Angel, so it’s already a special day for me. This really is the icing on the cake. What a way to celebrate ten years as a published author! I feel very lucky.

Today also marks the start of my very first blog tour. I’m a bit nervous about that, but very grateful to all the bloggers who have given up their time to read my book.

I’m so excited to invite you to my beautiful Cotswold village, and I hope you enjoy your visit there. I’m currently working on edits for the second in this series, as well as writing book three, so you can look forward to getting to know my characters - living and, er, not living - really well over the next few months.

Happy reading!
