Having raved about the television adaptation of The Other Bennet Sister recently, I finally settled down to read the book. Here are my thoughts on the book version versus the television version, and whether I loved one more than the other.

Sometimes, the only thing to do is settle back and lose yourself in a world where your biggest worry is remembering not to accept two dances with a gentleman, or whether you should risk sucking the juice from an orange in company or take it discreetly to your room. I’ve been bingeing on period dramas, and I’ve loved it!

I spent some of my Easter weekend watching The Other Bennet Sister - a literary offshoot of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice based on the novel by Janice Hadlow. Here's what I thought of it, and why I suddenly relate to the Bennet sibling I once overlooked entirely.
